Christina was born in Mount Albert, Auckland. Her father was a grower of plants and flowers and sold horticultural products. As a result of her early experiences she developed a love of floral arrangement which led to a long career in floristry which included owning her own business, Country Flowers.
Christina now lives in Ruakaka, Northland. Her studio not far from the beach is a dream realised and a perfect environment for inspiration and creativity. Combining her love and understanding of flowers, gardens, native flora and fauna, along with her passion for art, Christina has produced a series of botanical oils, watercolours and coloured pencil drawings. Although oils and watercolours are her first loves, she also enjoys the freedom of painting abstract works with acrylics and sometimes mixed media.
Christina has a diploma in interior design, and she has recently successfully carried out artwork commissions which enhance clients' homes in NZ and around the world.
